Dr Steven L S Chow is a consultant obstetrician gynaecologist ultrasonologist who graduated Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Melbourne University and trained in specialty Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Ultrasound in Melbourne, New Zealand and United Kingdom.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, as
Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist Ultrasonologist with sub-specialty accreditation in ultrasound examination issued by Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine.

He is a founding member of the Australian Gynaecologic Endoscopy Society in 1991 and trained extensively in endoscopic surgery. He has ceased delivery of babies since July 1997 and ceased all surgery since July 2000 to focus on specialty ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. His past experience of delivery of thousands of babies and thousands of surgical operations is particularly helpful in personally performing and interpreting the ultrasound images and provides a greater understanding of the special needs of patients, general practitioners and requirements of referring Obstetrician-Gynaecologists.
